SFCU´s innovative C-ION technology as 4th treatment step for trace substance removal in wastewater treatment plant effluent, developed together with ionOXess Co. (Innsbruck), had made it into the final for the Energy Globe World Award in the category water.

From more than 2,300 submitted sustainable projects from totally 182 countries 16 projects were nominated for the World Energy Globe Award and the submitters invited to the award ceremony in Yazd on January, 29, 2019.

Despite the fact that the World Energy Globe was awarded to another company, the event was more than worth the trip to Iran because of the international media coverage and the joy about the medal for the nomination was visibly great, because even without World Energy Globe the project remains one of the best sustainable projects in the world, which can contribute significantly to improve our environment for the future. The award of the Energy Globe Austria in the category water to SFC Umwelttechnik GmbH in the previous year already proved this sufficiently.
