From January 18 to 20, 2017 the Austrian Biomass Association, the Styrian Chamber of Agriculture and Bioenergy 2020+ in cooperation with Messe Graz organized the 5th Central European Biomass Conference (CEBC), which takes place every three years and belongs to the biggest industry events worldwide.
Among all renewable sources of energy bioenergy is the most important source and offers the greatest opportunities in Europe. The organizers of the 5th Central European Biomass Conference took account of the developments and focussed on sustainable biomass supply and efficient use of bioenergy as well as climate protection, energy revolution, and bio-economy.
C-MEM specialist Dipl.-Ing. Karl Winkler presented SFCU´s MBMBR technology (combination of moving bed biofilm reactor and membrane ultrafiltration) for condensate treatment from flue gas cleaning in biomass heating plants i.e. biomass heat recovery condensate (Example: SFCU reference project Holzwärme Flachau, Austria).
