What is grey water?
Greywater is slightly contaminated wastewater from showers, bathtubs, hand basins or washing machines. It contains no faeces or aggressive chemicals – and is therefore ideal for recycling and reuse, e.g. for flushing toilets, watering gardens or cleaning.
Why grey water use is becoming increasingly important
In times of climate change, water scarcity and rising water prices, the reuse of water is becoming increasingly important. Saving water means reducing costs and at the same time making an active contribution to environmental protection. The use of grey water offers enormous potential, especially in heavily built-up areas, hotels, residential complexes or industrial projects.
