Greywater treatment volume approx. 5,000 liters/day

The Gerhardhof in Wildermieming, Austria, relies on a variety of measures to provide its guests with a relaxing and sustainable holiday. The basic idea of the three founders is simple: make the best possible use of available resources and minimise the impact on the environment. In addition to their own spring, rainwater is collected in a service water pond and used for irrigation. A 5,400-litre complete system from INTEWA with C-MEM™ technology was installed to reuse the grey water from showers and hand basins, which is housed in the main building’s utility room to save space. The recycled water is used to flush the toilets.
