Jelutong, Malaysia

In Jelutong, Malaysia, the largest C-TECH™ plant for municipal wastewater is located, designed to meet the needs of 1.2 million population equivalents. Since 2007, this plant, with a total of 12 basins, has ensured the efficient removal of nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus. The C-TECH™ technology is ideal for this megacity, as it requires little space and can thus be perfectly integrated into the urban environment. In addition, SFC Umwelttechnik has also taken on the planning of sludge treatment to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable solution for wastewater treatment in Jelutong. This project demonstrates how innovative technologies can contribute to improving urban water quality.
