By means of FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) funding the optimization of the surface and the material of the existing C-MEM membrane fibres will be continued with the cooperation partners TCKT and MCI for another 2 years, whereby the focus of the research will be on the development and implementation of a surface coating technology that modifies the C-MEM membrane for the selective separation of dissolved substances, the replacement of the membrane material, the increase of production, the performance and quality of the final product as well as security of supply and local added value.
