In Hawkhurst, England, SFC Umwelttechnik has installed a modern C-TECH™ plant for municipal wastewater, designed for 2,000 population equivalents. The plant, which has been in operation since 2023, includes 3 basins, with one basin that can be taken out of service at any time to ensure flexibility. The new version of the C-TECH™ technology provides even higher biological phosphorus removal and achieves nutrient levels of less than 10 mg/l nitrogen and less than 0.3 mg/l phosphorus. This project demonstrates the advanced efficiency of the C-TECH™ technology and its contribution to improving water quality.
