The C-MEM™ ultrafiltration plant built in Fuschl, Austria, is designed for a flow rate of 10 l/sec, equivalent to about 4,000 population equivalents. The plant, built in 2023, handles the challenges of turbidity during heavy rainfall by effectively removing particles and turbidity, allowing UV operation at all times. The old system, consisting of an ozone plant and a multi-layer filter, was replaced by the modern C-MEM™ technology. Especially during the summer months, when water consumption increases due to tourists, the plant ensures a reliable drinking water supply. This project highlights the efficiency of the C-MEM™ ultrafiltration technology in maintaining high water quality under varying conditions.
