Chipping, England

A small municipal wastewater treatment plant in Chipping, England, experienced significant bulking sludge problems in the bioreactor during spring and autumn. To address this issue, two C-ION™ turbines were installed, one in each bioreactor. Since the installation of the turbines, there have been no further problems with bulking sludge. This project demonstrates the effectiveness of the C-ION™ technology in eliminating bulking sludge and contributes to the stability and efficiency of the treatment plant in Chipping.
