C-MEM™ Zero is based on an innovative ultrafiltration process using hollow fibre membranes – completely without the use of electrical energy or chemical additives. Contaminated raw water flows from the stainless-steel tank, into the C-MEM filter cartridge and passes through the hollow fibre membranes with an average pore size of just 20 nanometres (0.02 µm). The membrane acts as a physical barrier and reliably removes 99.9999 % of all bacteria, viruses, worm eggs and undissolved solids – while retaining valuable minerals in full. During the filtration process, the pollutants are deposited on the outside of the hollow fibres, while the purified water exits inside the membrane and can be used immediately – for hygienically safe and healthy drinking water!
C-MEM™ Zero technology offers numerous advantages which distinguish it from conventional water treatment systems. Its compact design, easy installation and plugand-play usability make the system extremely user-friendly. The robust construction, with no delicate mechanical parts, ensures a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements. With C-MEM™ Zero, it is literally possible to produce drinking water from almost any freshwater source.
