Berglandmilch Wörgl, Austria

In Wörgl, Austria, Berglandmilch operates a wastewater treatment plant designed for over 30,000 population equivalents. The plant had issues with bulking sludge in the bioreactor. To solve this problem, two C-ION™ turbines were installed, one in each bioreactor. Since then, there has been no occurrence of bulking sludge. This project demonstrates the effectiveness of SFC Umwelttechnik GmbH’s C-ION™ technology in addressing bulking sludge issues and contributes to the stability and efficiency of the treatment plant.
