Our main activities include the planning and delivery of state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment processes. We specialize in plant sizes of all kinds, both in the public and industrial sectors, and rely on the most advanced technologies from our own technology development. We are particularly proud of our innovative container plants equipped with C-TECH™, C-MEM™ MBR, and MBBR technology for wastewater treatment and C-MEM™ UF technology for drinking water treatment. These technologies stand for highest efficiency and reliability, contributing to sustainably improving the quality of life for people in many parts of the world.
Within our focus areas of drinking water and wastewater, we offer a wide range of services. Our commitment begins with the feasibility study and extends to the turnkey creation and construction of complex plants. Even after completion, we do not leave our customers “high and dry”: Our service, maintenance, and support contracts ensure that the plants always function optimally and meet the highest performance standards.
However, we are much more than a mere technology provider. Together with our institutional partners, we go many steps further, investing in projects, developing them from scratch, financing them, and also taking over their construction.
The history of the SFC Group dates back to 1919 and builds on the tradition and values of the then newly founded engineering firm Krieger & Buchleitner. Over generations, the company has remained family-owned, dedicated to water and wastewater technology. The long-standing experience, our research focus, and the accumulated know-how flow into each of our projects.
In 1997, SFC Umwelttechnik (SFCU) was finally founded, which has since developed into a globally recognized group. With around 160 dedicated employees and impressive growth, we are today a leading corporate group in the environmental technology sector.
