After large parts of Indonesia and especially the capital Jakarta were severely affected by flooding due to extremely heavy rainfall this January, the Rotary Club of Klosterneuburg (Austria) organized a fundraising campaign for C-MEM Zero treatment of drinking water to prevent the spread of epidemics.

In mid-March, one of the C-MEM Zero units was installed on the hospital ship RSA3, which can supply up to 200 people with clean drinking water per day. Viruses and bacteria are reliably filtered out of the water by ultrafiltration with C-MEM.

The C-MEM Zero unit was handed over to the ship’s crew by Mr. Kenny Kusumo, representative of the Rotary Club Jakarta.
