This year the 20th anniversary of the Energy Globe World Award took place in Espoo (Finland) on November 12 and 13. The important environmental award, in which more than 180 countries took part with a total of more than 20,000 submitted sustainable projects, had thus chosen an ideal location: Espoo was voted the most sustainable city in the world by the UN in 2018.
SFCU’s technology specialist Dr. Simon Jabornig presented the innovative C-ION technology as 4th treatment stage for the elimination of trace substances in wastewater treatment plant effluent, which had been developed in cooperation with ionOXess (Innsbruck).
In the category water SFC Umwelttechnik GmbH had already won the Energy Globe Austria in 2018 and was also nominated for the Energy Globe World.
